NTPC Sipat Extends Financial Support of Rs. 5.5 Crore to Bilaspur Super Specialty Hospital for the procurement of Medical Equipments

NTPC Sipat, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on 24th September 2025 with Kumar Saheb Swargya Shri Dilip Singh Judev Ji Government Super Specialty Hospital (KSSSDSJJ SSH), Bilaspur to provide financial assistance of Rs. 5.58 Crore for procurement of medical equipment.  As per the agreement, NTPC Sipat will provide Rs. 4.26 crore in FY 2025–26 and Rs. 1.32 crore in FY 2026–27 to strengthen modern medical equipments and infrastructure. The formal agreement was executed in the presence of Shri Sanjay Agrawal, IAS, Collector, Bilaspur, Shri Vijay Krishna Pandey, Executive Director, NTPC Sipat, and Shri Jayaprakash Satyakam, Head of HR, NTPC Sipat. The MoA was signed by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Director & Medical Superintendent, KSSSDSJJ SSH, and Dr. Bhavneesh Saman, Chief Medical Officer, NTPC Sipat. The initiative aims to upgrade healthcare facilities and provide modern medical treatment facilities for the benefit of the Bilaspur and adjoining districts.
Under the agreement, advanced medical facilities will be developed in the hospital, including a Blood Bank with Component Separation Facility costing approximately Rs. 3.17 crores, which will be branded in the name of NTPC Sipat. Additionally, medical equipment such as an Automated Microbiology and Hormone Laboratory, an AI-powered Automated Microbiology Module integrated with a 9–Part Hematology Analyzer, and an Automated Laundry System will be procured. With these additions, the hospital will be better equipped to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the people of Bilaspur and surrounding regions. The agreement also provides that NTPC Sipat employees, workers, and their dependents will receive priority healthcare services at nominal charges for critical cases, second opinions, and routine health check-ups. This collaboration underscores NTPC Sipat’s continued commitment to community development and public welfare, ensuring access to quality healthcare for both the public and its workforce. By extending support for advanced medical equipment and infrastructure, NTPC Sipat has taken a significant step towards strengthening healthcare delivery in the region. This initiative not only reinforces Bilaspur’s medical infrastructure but also strengthens NTPC’s vision of contributing to society through sustainable and impactful CSR interventions.
