RAIPUR : In a significant community outreach, the Adani Foundation, Raipur, successfully conducted a large-scale free health check-up camp at the Mahila Bhawan in village Raikheda. Organised under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the camp extended essential medical services to 473 villagers, many of whom accessed specialist care for the first time.

An expert panel of doctors from Raipur offered consultations in cardiology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, gynaecology and general medicine. Medical examinations were followed by tailored health advice and distribution of free medicines. The camp focused on common but underdiagnosed ailments in rural belts-hypertension, joint disorders, childhood illnesses, and maternal health complications.

A spokesperson from the Adani Foundation stated, “The core objective of this initiative is to bring qualified healthcare to underserved villages. We believe early detection and timely treatment can prevent long-term complications, especially in remote communities where access is limited.”

Villagers expressed gratitude, highlighting the real-time impact of the initiative. A local woman said, “It was the first time I consulted a lady doctor about a health issue I’ve lived with silently for years.” Another elderly participant added, “After years of joint pain, I finally have clarity and the right medication to begin healing.”

Community representatives praised the Foundation’s continuous engagement in rural upliftment. “Such camps empower our villages with not just treatment, but awareness,” said a gram panchayat member.

The Adani Foundation continues to expand its work in health, education, livelihood, and rural development. The Raikheda camp marks another milestone in its ongoing mission to bring quality services to India’s rural heartlands.
