NTPC-Sponsored Shuttler Harshit Thakur Clinches 3rd Senior State Badminton Title
Korba : NTPC Ltd. proudly announces that Harshit Thakur, sponsored by NTPC Korba, has once again brought laurels to the company and the state by winning the Men’s Singles title at the Chhattisgarh Senior State Badminton Championship, held in Jagdalpur from 10th–14th August 2025.
This victory marks Harshit’s third Senior State Championship title, reaffirming his No. 1 ranking in Chhattisgarh. His consistent success has been made possible through the valuable support extended by NTPC Korba, which has been sponsoring his sporting journey over the years.
Expressing his gratitude, Harshit said:

The tournament also served as the selection event for the Yonex Sunrise West Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Goa this September, where the top two athletes from each of the six West Zone states will compete. With this win, Harshit has secured his place to represent Chhattisgarh at the prestigious tournament.
