Why is Amit Shah silent on the deteriorating law and order situation? – Vandana Rajput

Raipur : State Congress spokesperson Vandana Rajput has said that the Union Home Minister is regularly visiting Chhattisgarh but does not say a word on the deteriorating law and order situation. BJP had promised that Chhattisgarh would be crime free if BJP government is formed, but two days ago in the capital Raipur, two minor girls were kidnapped in a crowd and made victims of lust. Crimes against women are continuously increasing. Women from Bastar to Surguja are forced to live in an atmosphere of fear. Parents are worried due to the increasing incidents of atrocities and incest. The morale of criminals has increased, crimes are being committed openly in broad daylight. Home Minister should take notice of the law and order situation.

State Congress spokesperson Vandana Rajput has said that the death of Dulari Yadav and Rukmani Sinha of the Midday Meal Cooks Union, who were on hunger strike for the past 30-40 days, is the result of the government’s insensitivity and the administration’s ruthlessness. Instead of listening to the demands of the employees, this government has resorted to barbarity. This is not a simple death but murder. The government should provide immediate compensation to the victim families and fulfil the demands of the Cooks Union. The BJP government, which came to power by promising to regularise all irregular and contractual employees within 100 days, has become arrogant and has resorted to brutal repression.

State Congress spokesperson Vandana Rajput said that every section of society in Chhattisgarh is agitated due to the BJP government’s breach of promise. Most of the 86,000 midday meal kitchens are run by rural women, who have been protesting for a month and a quarter in the bitter cold under the open sky with their infants. At the Tuta protest site, basic amenities like toilets, drinking water, and first aid have been deliberately disrupted. Protesters are being prevented from meeting responsible leaders, ministers, and MLAs. They are being pushed and beaten. Even ambulances are not being arranged in case of deterioration of health during the fast. The Union Home Minister must answer. Women are dying while fighting for their rights under the double-engine government.

State Congress spokesperson Vandana Rajput said that the Honorable Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the D.Ed. candidates, and the recruitment process has already been completed for about half the posts. However, due to this government’s ill-will, the remaining candidates are facing injustice and are forced to protest. However, since coming to power, the BJP government has backtracked on its promises and Modi’s guarantees. This government is bent on pushing and beating the CAF candidates who have been on strike for the past month demanding jobs. When a female candidate, who had been on a hunger strike for a long time, became ill, even an ambulance was not allowed to pass. This is the height of this government’s inhumanity. The Home Minister should meet the D.Ed. candidates and fulfill their demands.
