SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant Holds Free Health Camp at Pusewada Village

Raipur : Reaffirming its commitment to community welfare, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) organised a one-day free health camp at Pusewada Village Panchayat, near Dulki Mines in Rajnandgaon district.
A team of doctors, health professionals, and CSR personnel from BSP examined 51 villagers, including men, women, and children, during the camp. Free medicines were also distributed to all beneficiaries.

Health camps are among the flagship CSR initiatives of BSP, through which the steel plant has been consistently working to strengthen public health infrastructure in its peripheral and mining areas. These camps, held at regular intervals, are aimed at extending quality healthcare to remote and rural communities, ensuring that medical services reach those who need them the most.
By organising such initiatives, Bhilai Steel Plant continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to social responsibility, making healthcare more accessible and inclusive for the communities around its operations.
