NTPC Sipat Participates Enthusiastically in Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav
NTPC Sipat participated with great enthusiasm and zeal in the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav held from 2nd to 4th November 2025 at Police Ground, Bilaspur, marking the 25th Foundation Year of the State of Chhattisgarh. As the largest power generation project in the state of Chhattisgarh, NTPC Sipat showcased its achievements, generation capacity, environmental initiatives, and various works undertaken under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through its exhibition stalls. The company also presented the progress of the under-construction 800 MW Stage-III unit, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 30th March 2025.

The NTPC Sipat stall showcased a range of fly ash-based innovative products, including the ‘Sukh’ Eco House, fly ash bricks, park tables and benches, geopolymer aggregates, and interlocking wall blocks. The prototypes of the ‘Sukh’ Eco House, fly ash brick manufacturing unit, and the Sipat Station model were among the key attractions for visitors.

During the Rajyotsav, NTPC Sipat also showcased its various initiatives and achievements under CSR programs. Four self-help groups trained by NTPC Sipat — Lakshmi, Jagriti, Unnati, and Sanskriti — exhibited and sold their locally made products such as spices and embroidery items, setting inspiring examples of self-employment and women empowerment at the grassroots level.
It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav was inaugurated on 2nd November 2025 at Bilaspur by Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and Member of Parliament, Shri Tokhan Sahu, in which Shri Surojit Sinha, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), represented NTPC Sipat.
