NTPC Korba Organizes Cleanliness and Environmental Awareness Program for Students of Dhanras and Jamnipali Schools
Korba : Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of NTPC Korba, cleanliness awareness programs are being organized in schools located in nearby villages. As part of this initiative, CSR, NTPC Korba, in collaboration with Swachhta Pukare Foundation, conducted a cleanliness awareness program at Dhanras and Jamnipali schools.
The program, held on Tuesday under the joint aegis of CSR, NTPC Korba, and Swachhta Pukare Foundation, aimed to educate students on the significance of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and environmental protection. To reinforce these values, wall paintings related to cleanliness and environmental sustainability were also created in the schools.
As part of the event, a drawing competition was organized for the students. Children showcased their creativity and conveyed powerful messages through their artwork, highlighting themes such as a clean India, a clean environment, and a healthy society. The winners were felicitated with prizes for their innovative and meaningful drawings.
Additionally, a student rally was conducted, where children carried colorful posters and raised awareness about the importance of cleanliness and a healthy environment among the community.
The school administration and teaching staff appreciated the initiative, stating that such programs inspire students to become responsible citizens and contribute to building a cleaner and healthier society.
