NIT Raipur’s Rajbhasha Samiti Concludes ‘Aavahan 2025’ with Valedictory Ceremony Celebrating Hindi and Creativity

Raipur : The Rajbhasha Samiti of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur concluded its Hindi fortnight celebration ‘Aavahan 2025’ with a valedictory and award distribution ceremony held on October 6, 2025. The two-week-long event, organized from September 22 to October 6 to mark Hindi Diwas, featured a series of literary and cultural competitions for students and faculty members.

Dr. N. V. Ramana Rao, Director, NIT Raipur, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He congratulated the Rajbhasha Samiti for the successful organization of Aavahan 2025, emphasizing that Hindi is not merely a language of communication but a medium of thought, creativity, and national identity. Registrar Dr. Narendra D. Londhe and Dean (Student Welfare) Dr. Manoj Kumar Chopkar also attended the ceremony, encouraging participants to use Hindi more frequently in academic and administrative work.
During the fortnight, competitions such as street play, comic story writing, quiz, poetry recitation, and slogan writing were conducted with enthusiastic participation. Winners were felicitated during the concluding ceremony.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Dr. S. N. Raw, and Dr. Vikas Kumar Vidyarthi, Faculty In-charges of the Rajbhasha Samiti. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Sanjay Kumar, marking the successful completion of a vibrant celebration of the Hindi language at NIT Raipur.
