Parsa/Udaipur,Ambikapur : The Parsa East Kete Basen Football Tournament continued to enthral spectators as its second, third, and fourth days — held on October 6, 7, and 8 respectively — witnessed a series of thrilling encounters. Teams from various districts displayed exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship across six matches, making the event a celebration of footballing excellence in the region.

Each day concluded with the “Man of the Match” award honouring players for their stellar performances on the field.
October 6, 2025 – Day 2:
Dugga vs Vrindavan: Vrindavan defeated Dugga 1–0. Khaleshwar was named Man of the Match.
Rebel Panther Lundra vs Geena Bahar Jashpur: Geena Bahar Jashpur won 3–1, with Rahul receiving the Man of the Match award.
October 7, 2025 – Day 3:
United Eleven Ambikapur vs Barpara Balrampur: Barpara Balrampur triumphed 3–1. Goalkeeper Ganga Ram earned the Man of the Match title.
October 8, 2025 – Day 4:
Parsa B vs Dada Bhai Baikunthpur (Korea): Parsa B secured a 3–0 victory. Neelbhushan was named Man of the Match.
Churcha Colliery Baikunthpur (Korea) vs Star Club Lakhanpur (Surguja): Churcha Colliery dominated 3–0, with Ayush Karketta bagging the award.
JFC Kunni (Surguja) vs Shivnagar (Surajpur): Shivnagar clinched a 2–0 win. Rahul Kariyam was declared Man of the Match.
October 9, 2025 – Day 5:
Guturma (Korba) vs Churcha Colliery (Korea): In a tightly contested match, Churcha Colliery emerged victorious 4–2 via penalties. Ashok Kumar received the Man of the Match honour for his impressive performance.
Teams from across districts are participating, symbolising unity, community spirit, and the growing enthusiasm for grassroots football. The energy and dedication of the players have been widely appreciated, boosting local sports culture.
The grand finale is scheduled for October 17, 2025, with local representatives and members of the organising committee expected to attend the closing ceremony.
The tournament is being organised by the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) in collaboration with Adani Foundation, Gram Panchayat Parsa, and the Adarsh Tiger Youth Club. The event aims to promote rural sports, engage youth through football, and provide a platform for emerging local talent.
The Adani Foundation continues to support sports such as football and archery across the state, encouraging youth empowerment through athletic participation and community development.
