Empowering Chhattisgarh’s Youth, More than 400 Candidates Awarded Appointment Letters at Raipur Rozgar Mela

A historic chapter was written in the journey of security and development in Chhattisgarh today. As part of the Central Government’s nationwide ‘Rozgar Mela’, a ceremony was organized at the CRPF Group Center in Arang, Raipur, where more than 400 youth from Chhattisgarh were presented with appointment letters for various Central Armed Police Forces. These young recruits are set to join prestigious organizations such as the CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB and other armed forces. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Shri Tokhan Sahu, congratulated the youth on their new roles in serving the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed appointment letters to over 61,000 youth across the country via video conferencing during the 18th National Rozgar Mela. This nationwide event spanned 45 locations, providing newly appointed candidates the opportunity to serve in security forces and various central departments. In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized that these appointments are an “invitation to nation-building,” aimed at securing the future of the youth while significantly strengthening India’s borders and internal security systems.

Addressing the gathering at the CRPF Group Center in Raipur, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that by bringing employment into “mission mode,” the Prime Minister has given a new direction to the confidence, potential, and dreams of the youth. He noted that this initiative reflects the Prime Minister’s unwavering faith in the capabilities of young Indians and the bright future of the country.

Shri Sahu commended the newly appointed candidates, stating that their success is the fruit of hard work, discipline, and determination. Extending his heartfelt congratulations to the recruits and their families, he remarked that this achievement is not just a personal victory but a moment of pride for the entire society. He informed the audience that a total of more than 400 youth received their letters at the Raipur center, with 25 of them receiving their documents directly from him on stage.

In his closing remarks, Shri Sahu highlighted that the Rozgar Mela proves that youth power is India’s greatest asset, and it is this very strength that will propel the nation to new heights in the coming years.

The event saw the presence of distinguished officials, including Shri Shalin (IPS, IG, CRPF), Shri Ajay Kumar Singh (DIG, CRPF) , Smt. Durga Bhavani Rajnala (DIG Medical, CRPF), and Shri Ajay Kumar Singh (Commandant, CRPF) . Senior officers of the Central Armed Forces, the new recruits, their families, and media representatives attended the ceremony in large numbers. This event stands as a testament to the fact that the youth of Chhattisgarh are now ready to safeguard the nation’s borders based on their merit, marking the dawn of a new era of peace and progress in the state.
