Bilaspur: The controversy surrounding alleged cow activist Goldy Sharma has intensified on social media following his arrest in connection with an alleged assault and caste-related remarks involving a member of the Satnami community in Gudguda, Arang.
After an alleged social media post by Goldy Sharma expressing displeasure over the Bilaspur police and the government, a poster opposing him has gone viral on social media. The poster carries his photograph along with a screenshot of the alleged post and raises several serious questions concerning religion, cow protection and alleged intimidation.
“Targeting the Satnami Community in the Name of Hinduism?”
The viral poster carries sharp messages such as “Targeting the Satnami community while invoking Hinduism?” and “Goldy Sharma, look into your own conduct first.”
The poster claims that questions are bound to arise over statements being made in the name of religion following the alleged mistreatment and assault of members of the Satnami community.

Goldy Sharma and his associates were subsequently accused of allegedly abusing, making caste-related remarks against and assaulting Balram Kurre, who is associated with the Satnami community.
