Adani Foundation’s Eight-Day Summer Camp Concludes Under Utthan Project

351 Children from Nine Villages Participate in Educational, Creative and Sports Activities

Raipur : Under the Utthan Project of , an eight-day summer camp was successfully organized at Village Chicholi in the Tilda development block of Raipur district. The camp was held at the newly constructed Adani Bhavan, Chicholi, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 351 children representing nine nearby villages.

Children from Chicholi, Gaitra, Raikheda, Bhatapara, Tarashiv, Konari, Khamharia, Khapri and Chhataud villages actively participated in the programme. Local public representatives, along with officials and employees of , Raipur, were present throughout the event and encouraged the children during various sessions.

The inaugural session of the camp was attended by Chicholi Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Mrs. Rampyari Dhruv, Deputy Sarpanch representative Mr. Rajkumar Banjare and Panch members. On the second day, Tarashiv Gram Panchayat representative Mr. Manish Verma motivated the children and encouraged them to participate actively in all activities. The concluding ceremony was graced by Gaurkheda Gram Panchayat representative Mr. Roshan Yadav and Kevtara Sarpanch Mr. Govind Kurre.

During the eight-day camp, children enthusiastically participated in educational, cultural, creative and sports-based activities designed to enhance their learning abilities, creativity, confidence and teamwork skills. The creative sessions included paper crafting, leaf-art making, paper puppet creation, clay toy making, “Best Out of Waste” activities, birdhouse and bird feeder preparation, pen stand crafting, painting and mask-making exercises.

The camp also featured dance performances, singing, acting activities, general knowledge competitions, mental mathematics sessions, map-based learning exercises and an interactive discussion programme titled “Mera Vichar” (My Thoughts), where children shared their ideas and opinions confidently.

Several fun-filled sports and recreational activities were also organized, including relay races, balloon races, bottle-catching games, frog races and ball-passing competitions. These activities helped develop teamwork, coordination and a spirit of participation among the children.

The guests and public representatives appreciated the initiative and stated that such programmes play an important role in the personality development, creativity and social awareness of rural children. They also praised the continuous efforts being made by the Adani Foundation towards the holistic development of children and communities in rural areas.
