Raipur, December : The Adani Foundation, Raigarh, organised a Farmer Exposure Visit for progressive farmers during the CB Crop Show 2025, held at the CB Nursery, Chavda Bagh, Nandanvan Road, Chandnai, Tatibandh, Raipur. The initiative aimed to familiarise farmers with modern agricultural technologies and innovative farming practices.

A total of 23 farmers, accompanied by the Adani Foundation staff, participated in the visit. The agricultural exhibition showcased over 280 high-yield hybrid varieties, including more than 30 varieties of vegetables. Additionally, over 90 leading agricultural companies displayed their products, including advanced seeds, fertilisers, organic and chemical crop protection solutions, and modern farming equipment. Eight major seed companies from across the country actively participated in the event.

The primary objective of the exposure visit was to provide farmers with firsthand information on latest cultivation methods, improved seed varieties, organic farming practices, modern agricultural tools, and various government welfare schemes related to agriculture.

The Adani Foundation has been consistently encouraging women self-help groups to adopt advanced farming techniques every year. Under this initiative, support is provided in the form of quality seeds, mulching materials, drip irrigation systems, fertilisers, pesticides, and technical guidance. This year too, the exposure visit was organised to promote collective farming across five acres of land.

During the visit, farmers interacted with agricultural experts at various exhibition stalls and gained valuable insights into innovative technologies and government schemes. Bajrang Yadav, a farmer from Thengagudi, said that the visit helped him understand modern technologies that would significantly improve productivity and income. Pushpa Sao, a woman farmer from Barpali, appreciated the initiative, stating that the Foundation’s support to women groups would strengthen collective farming and boost their confidence towards becoming self-reliant.

Participants termed the exposure visit highly informative and beneficial. They expressed gratitude to the Adani Foundation for the initiative. The Foundation stated that it would continue organising such programmes in the future to empower farmers and promote sustainable agriculture.
