
472 Units of Blood Donated; Over 28,000 Saplings Planted to Promote Environmental Conservation

Udaipur, Ambikapur : On the occasion of ‘Adani Day’, commemorating the birthday of [Gautam Adani](https://www.adani.com/?utm_source=chatgpt.com), a blood donation camp and tree plantation drive were organised in the Parsa East and Kente Basan (PEKB) and Parsa Coal Block (PCB) mining areas. The initiative witnessed active participation from project employees, members of local communities and partner organisations.

The blood donation camp received an overwhelming response from employees working in the mining projects. A total of 472 units of blood were donated, which will support healthcare services and help meet the needs of patients in the region.
As part of the environmental conservation initiative, a large-scale plantation drive was conducted in the PEKB project area. A total of 28,231 saplings were planted across 11.293 hectares of land, with around 300 participants contributing to the campaign.

The plantation activity was planned considering the local climate and ecological conditions, with suitable plant species selected to increase green cover and support long-term environmental sustainability.
Speaking on the occasion, a project representative said, “The blood donation and plantation initiatives organised on Adani Day represent our commitment towards society and the environment. Through blood donation, we aim to support those in need, while plantation efforts contribute towards building a greener and sustainable future.”

The successful execution of the programme involved coordinated efforts by employees of the Adani Group, project management teams, local communities, horticulture teams, mining departments and administrative units.
Support was also provided by partners and associated organisations including Jain Pipe Traders, Ganga Sagar Choubey, MM Sales and mining contractors, who contributed to making the initiative successful.
