India Post Pays Aerial Tribute to Air Warriors — Chhattisgarh Postal Circle Releases Special Flown Cover Carried by Suryakiran
Raipur : The skies over Sendh Lake in New Raipur reverberated with the thunderous precision of the Indian Air Force’s ‘Suryakiran’ Aerobatic Team, symbolizing courage, discipline, and technological excellence. Commemorating this proud moment, the Chhattisgarh Postal Circle of the Department of Posts, Government of India, released a Special Flown Cover, featuring special cancellation, additional red cancellation, and a picture postcard .
Before the aerial display, the Director of Postal Services, Chhattisgarh Postal Circle, ceremoniously handed over the special philatelic items to the pilots of the Suryakiran team. These covers were specially carried aloft during the Suryakiran team’s flight, making them a unique symbol of the synergy between India’s aviation excellence and the nation’s postal heritage.
This initiative stands not merely as a postal collectible but as a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Indian Air Force and the enduring service ethos of India Post — an inspiring confluence of speed, precision, patriotism, and dedication.
Through this commemorative gesture, the Chhattisgarh Postal Circle has beautifully encapsulated the nation’s pride in its air warriors and reaffirmed India Post’s commitment to celebrating national achievements that unite hearts across the skies.
