Adani Foundation Organises Capacity-Building Programme for Teachers under Utthan Schools Initiative

Tilda–Nevra (Raipur) : With the objective of enhancing academic quality and strengthening digital pedagogy, the Adani Foundation on Thursday organised a capacity-building training programme for teachers under its Utthan initiative at the Government Higher Secondary School, Tulsi Nevra. Teachers from 27 schools associated with the Utthan project participated enthusiastically in the programme.

The primary focus of the training was to promote the effective use of TV panels and interactive panels provided to schools under the Utthan project, enabling teachers to make classroom instruction more engaging, accessible and outcome-oriented. During the session, subject experts gave detailed and hands-on demonstrations of various tools and functions of interactive panels.

Teachers were guided on how digital teaching aids can be used to enhance students’ interest, participation and learning outcomes in classrooms. Special emphasis was laid on activity-based teaching methodologies, aimed at creating a more interactive and learner-friendly academic environment. Utthan facilitators were also actively present during the programme and closely observed the teaching techniques and digital tools introduced during the training.

Participating teachers appreciated the Adani Foundation’s Utthan initiative, noting that the integration of digital learning tools in schools has led to a visible improvement in students’ academic performance. Several teachers described the programme as a meaningful and effective step towards strengthening students’ learning processes.

Rajendra Prasad Das, Block Education Officer, Tilda–Nevra, who attended the programme, lauded the positive changes being witnessed in the education sector through the Utthan initiative. He said such training programmes help teachers stay updated with modern teaching techniques and significantly improve classroom management and instructional delivery. He also expressed gratitude to the Adani Foundation for its contribution to strengthening the education system.

The training programme emerged as a significant initiative towards effective implementation of digital education and professional capacity development of teachers in the region, reinforcing the role of technology-driven learning in government schools.
