Sakti । In a comprehensive review on 10 January 2025, Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma conducted the annual inspection of Malkharoda Police Station in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh. The inspection aimed to enhance operational efficiency, ensure effective law enforcement, and address issues faced by police personnel and the general public.

SP Sharma meticulously reviewed various registers, including the MLC register, Faena register, Suspect register, Alphabetic register, and Musafiri register, providing guidance on their proper maintenance and updates. She directed beat officers to strengthen the beat system and closely monitor criminal activities within their jurisdictions.

SP Sharma instructed officers to intensify actions under the Excise Act and provide monthly reports on the same. She emphasised expediting investigations in pending complaints and disposing of seized goods and vehicles in the station’s custody. Senior officers were informed about updates in laws and directed to implement them effectively in their actions. Staff members were advised to familiarise themselves with new laws and participate in enforcement activities.

Public grievances were addressed, with SP Sharma directing the station in-charge to resolve complaints promptly and maintain public trust. She instructed the initiation of the auction process for seized vehicles and included it as a priority task for February.

SP Sharma highlighted the importance of cyber and traffic awareness, emphasising the expansion of the “Khaki Kids” initiative for community engagement. The review also included an assessment of the station’s vehicles and personnel preparedness to handle law and order situations effectively.

She concluded by addressing staff issues and educating them on the benefits of the Police Headquarters’ MoU with banks, which offers advantages under the police salary package system.

The inspection reinforced the commitment to improving policing standards, public service efficiency, and fostering a disciplined work environment at Malkharoda Police Station.
