Record 120 pending cases of dependent pension were settled in SECL in the last 2 months

Success achieved due to joint initiative of HR, Vigilance Department and CMPFFO

Bilaspur : A special campaign is being run in SECL to resolve pending cases related to dependent pension on priority. As a result, a record 120 cases have been settled in the last 2 months. This initiative taken towards employee welfare has been successful due to this joint effort of SECL’s Vigilance Department and Human Resources (HR) Department and CMPFO.

Under this campaign, SECL management and Vigilance Department are working on an action plan to settle the pending cases expeditiously in collaboration with CMPFO officials.

*Director (HR) has stressed on better coordination in meeting with CMPFO Commissioners*

SECL Director (HR) Shri Biranchi Das had recently held a meeting with CMPFO Bilaspur and Jabalpur Regional Commissioners at Head Office Bilaspur and stressed on fast-tracking the settlement of pending cases. Along with this, immediate solution of technical problems coming in CMPFFO’s C-Cares portal was also discussed.

*Efforts are being made to increase awareness about revised PPO*

Earlier, due to the absence of wife’s name in the PPO (Pension Payment Order), in case of death of the employee, the wife had to go to the last unit to get her name registered in the PPO, in which many times there was delay and other problems had to be faced.

In view of this, revised PPO has been started to be issued in which along with the employee, his wife’s name is also being registered. And employees are being made aware to get revised PPO issued.

*SECL to directly reach out to dependents to settle pending cases*

To settle pending PF/pension cases, SECL HR department, Vigilance department and CMPFO will directly reach out to the employees and dependents and solve their problems. The company plans to organize PF Melas in operational areas to solve the problems of employees on a large scale.
