Public representatives active on public issues, memorandum submitted to solve the problem of water and education

Mungeli । Janaki Barmate, a district member of district panchayat Mungeli, submitted a memorandum to the administration regarding the problem of water in his area and the plight of the education system. Taking the problems of the villagers seriously, he submitted two separate memorandum to the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Mungeli and demanded necessary action.

Memorandum to solve the water problem: As soon as the summer starts, the problem of water has started coming up everywhere. With whom people have started reaching the district headquarters. One such case has come up again in which the public representatives of Gram Panchayat under Nagophari have submitted a memorandum for bore mining work due to lack of drinking water. Which included Gram Panchayat Vicharpur, (Village Vicharpur, Shuklabantha, Sonpuri), Gram Panchayat Rajpur (Mahar) Sankapat, Keharpur, Rajpalpur, Gram Panchayat Keshalikala (Maradbari, Lalpur) Gram Panchayat Bhimpuri (Usalapur, Manpur, Chitraungpur), Gram Panchayat Nagophari (Jhitkaniya, Talm, Pandit, Kingaripara). It was mentioned in the memorandum that there is a huge shortage of drinking water in all these gram panchayats. In the summer season, the problem of water becomes even more rare, due to which the villagers have to face a lot of trouble. Villagers have to go several kilometers away to bring drinking water. He demanded that immediate bore mining should be done in these areas, so that the water problem can be solved permanently.

Demand to improve education system: In the second memorandum, the issue of the dilapidated building of primary/former secondary school at Gram Panchayat Vicharpur was raised. He said that this school building has become completely dilapidated, due to which the safety of students is under threat. Parents are also worried about the possibility of the school building falling. He demanded that this school building be repaired as soon as possible, so that the education of the students is not affected. Apart from this, he also demanded construction of permanent building of EGS center operated at village Sonpuri. The center has been operating in a temporary building since 1997, but till date no confirmed structure has been created for it. Currently this school is in a dilapidated state, yet education up to primary level is being imparted here. About 120 children are studying in temporary building, causing their safety and facilities crisis. He urged that a pucca building for this school be built as soon as possible.

Resolution of public problems priority: District member Janaki Barmate said that he is fully committed to the problems of the people of the region. She expects the administration to solve these problems as soon as possible. He said that if the water crisis and education problem is not resolved in time, then they will raise this issue prominently. After submitting the memorandum, the villagers of the area also appreciated their efforts and hoped that the administration would soon take concrete steps towards solving these problems.
