Rajnandgaon – District Mohla Monpur Ambagarh outpost was formed last year on 02 September 2022, during the time of formation it came under the District Inspector General of Police Durg Range Durg. Last year, after the formation of Inspector General of Police Rajnandgaon Range Rajnandgaon on 31st July 2023, the first annual inspection of the district was conducted by Inspector General of Police Mr. Deepak Jha (BJP) Rajnandgaon Range Rajnandgaon on 21st-22nd November. As part of the annual inspection, Ambagarh outpost of the district was inspected on 21st November, during which Superintendent of Police YP Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Devcharan Patel, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Tajeshwar Diwan were present. By inspecting the level of crime investigation, murder/missing person/complaint investigation of the police station, permanent records of the police stations, updated status entered in the maintained register, disposal and maintenance of seized goods/mishra, cleanliness and repair of the police station building/residence/premises.

In the second phase, the register maintained at Sub-Divisional Officer Police Office, Ambagarh Chowki and supervision of serious crime was inspected. In the afternoon inspection of the Superintendent of Police Office Mohalla was conducted. During the inspection, he was given a guard of honor by the saluting contingent, after which Superintendent of Police YP Singh introduced the entire branch of the Superintendent’s Office Mohalla to the Inspector General of Police. As part of the annual inspection, the Inspector General of Police inspected the budget allocation and expenditure records of the Chief Clerk, Pay Branch, Fund Branch, Contingency Branch, AC-1 Branch. On the second day of inspection, the annual inspection parade was organized at Rakshit Kendra Mohalla on 22nd November. In the inspection parade, Superintendent of Police Mr. Y.P. Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Devcharan Patel, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Monpur Mayank Tiwari, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Additional Charge Sub-Divisional Officer) PoliceAmbagarh Chowki) Tajeshwar Diwan, 01 Reserve Inspector, 05 Inspector, 05 Sub Inspector, 16 Assistant Sub Inspector, 17 Head Constable, 76 Constable and 10 member police band participated. Inspector General of Police was saluted by Reserve Inspector Bhuneshwar Kashyap. In order to inspect the parade, march past, squad drill and caution command were conducted. The newly constructed martyr memorial statue was unveiled at Rakshit Kendra Mohalla by Inspector General of Police, Mr. Deepak Jha (BJP), on this occasion the families of nine martyrs residing in the district were present. Inspector General of Police spoke to all the martyred families to inquire about their well-being and honored them by presenting them shawls and quince fruits. At the conclusion of the annual inspection, a darbar was organized and requests were made to the Inspector General of Police regarding their collective and personal problems by the martyr families, police officers and employees of the district. After considering it seriously, assurance was given that it would be resolved. Inspector General of Police, in his address in the court, praised the work being done with dedication and hard work by all the officers and employees of the district under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police and senior officers, despite the lack of resources in this new district.
