Harshita Yadav tops Class 10 with 81.84%, 8 out of top 11 scorers are girls

SARGUJA (UDAIPUR)| In a remarkable display of academic excellence, the students of Adani Vidya Mandir, Salhi have delivered outstanding results in the 2025 CBSE board examinations, with girl students taking the lead in both Class 10 and Class 12 performances. The school, run under the community initiative of the Adani Foundation and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, caters primarily to students from the tribal belts near the Sarguja mining zone.
In Class 10, the school recorded a 100% pass rate with all 51 students clearing the examination. Of the 11 students scoring above 60%, eight were girls. Harshita Yadav of Dandgaon emerged as the school topper with 81.84%, followed by Prerna Singh of Salhi with 77.84%, and Rajkamal Korram of Salhi at third position with 76.67%.
Similarly, in Class 12, out of 47 students who appeared, 10 scored above 60%, including six girls. Tribal student Narayan Singh Korram from Hariharpur topped the school with 75%, followed by Sameer Yadav of Ghatbarra with 73.6%, and Surjeet Porte of Salhi securing third place with 71.8%.
Speaking about her achievement, Harshita Yadav, daughter of Rajkumar Yadav, said, âMy teachers consistently guided and encouraged me. This result is a reflection of their dedication.â
Class 12 topper Narayan Singh Korram, son of Balsai Korram, added, âI am truly happy today. My teachers stood by me every step of the way. I am preparing for the CUET and aspire to graduate from a reputed university.â
Principal Ashish Pandey expressed pride in the results, stating, âThese outcomes are the fruit of rigorous teaching, parental support, and the studentsâ commitment. What makes us particularly proud is the continued academic progress of our girls. Harshita has always been one of our brightest students. I congratulate all our toppers and wish them success in their future endeavours.â
Adani Vidya Mandir, operated through the Adani Foundation with support from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd, currently offers free quality education to over 1000 students from the surrounding tribal villages. The school is equipped with smart classrooms and provides students with free tabs, meals, books, uniforms, school bags, and shoes. It also facilitates online coaching for competitive exams like JEE and NEET through reputed national coaching platforms.
