Students from Jamul’s government schools achieve top ranks with scores up to 88%

Bhilai : Once again validating the transformative potential of guided education, the Adani Foundation’s free ‘Utthan Coaching’ programme at Jamul has delivered outstanding results in the recent board examinations. Operated under the CSR initiative of ACC Jamul Cement, the coaching centre is committed to offering quality academic support to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students from government schools.

This year’s stellar performances highlight not just individual brilliance but also the success of a model that integrates dedicated teaching, regular test series, doubt counters, motivational sessions and career counselling. The achievements reflect the synergy between persistent student effort, parental support, and consistent mentoring.

In Class 12, Purvi Bhargav from Government Higher Secondary School, Jamul, secured the top rank with 79.2%, followed by Prabha Jangel with 78.2%, and Meenakshi Barman with 75.6%. Sahil Songare of Shram Niketan HSS, Jamul (Commerce stream), scored 79.4%, placing third in his school. In Class 10, Purvi achieved 88%, clinching the third rank again. Among juniors, Chaman Sahu and Mannat Meshram ranked first and third in Class 9 with 68% and 65% respectively. In Class 11, Harsh Kumar Sahu of Kurud school (Maths) secured 74.4%, while Anushka Singh and Manisha Yadav scored 70% and 74% (Commerce) respectively to finish third in their streams.

The initiative, now much more than just a coaching programme, is shaping self-reliant, capable citizens and fostering aspirations of becoming doctors, engineers, educators, administrators, and social change-makers.

Through this endeavour, the Adani Foundation is laying the foundation of a positive educational shift, pledging to continue supporting such transformative journeys.
