Ambikapur (Udaipur) । In a significant step towards enhancing rural healthcare, the Adani Foundation organized a free health check-up and consultation camp at Salhi village in Surguja district on Friday. The camp, held under the social outreach initiatives of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL), aimed to provide healthcare services to underserved communities.
The health camp witnessed the participation of over 150 villagers from more than 14 surrounding villages located near the Parasa East Kanta Basan (PEKB) and Parasa mines. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with Raipur’s esteemed Ramkrishna Care Hospital, provided comprehensive medical assistance from 11 am to 4 pm.
During the camp, specialist doctors conducted thorough medical check-ups, including ophthalmology, dental care, pediatric care, and general medicine. Attendees were not only given free consultations but also provided with essential medications to address their health concerns. Additionally, complimentary diagnostic services such as ECG, blood pressure, and blood sugar tests were also conducted.
The participating medical experts addressed a range of common yet often neglected health issues, including chronic fatigue, unexplained weight fluctuations, persistent body aches, respiratory difficulties, and severe headaches. Patients suffering from prolonged fever, digestive disorders, and other recurring ailments were offered professional guidance and appropriate medication.
Distinguished attendees included Sampatiya Devi, Sarpanch of Tara village, and RRVUNL’s Executive Engineer Prakash Kumar Ojha, who commended the Foundation’s commitment to improving community well-being.
