Balrampur – Kotwali police has succeeded in arresting the accused of murdering mother, daughter and son due to love affair. According to the information, the accused’s brother had a love affair with a minor girl, due to which he did not send money home. Angered by this, the elder brother killed all three.

According to the information received in this regard, Inspector Parasnath, father of Bedi Ram, resident of Maharajganj, present at the police station at Kotwali Balrampur on November 15 at 7:15 in the morning, informed that the paddy located in his village Dahejwar (Kanchanpur)Human skeleton, bones and skull are seen lying in the field. On receiving the information, FSL and District Balrampur police team immediately reached the spot after informing the senior officers. Bones, skull, clothes, anklets etc. of three human skeletons were seized by the team from the incident site. Information about missing cases registered in all the police stations of the district and border districts was taken by the police. On which, in the missing person number 08/2024 of Kusmi district Balrampur police station, three people, Mrs. Kaushalya, husband Surajdev Thakur, age 35 years, Muktawati, father Surajdev Thakur, age 17 years and Mindu Thakur, father Surajdev Thakur, age 05 years, all residents of ward no. 01 Kusmi had left her house on 26th September last month saying she was going to Kusmi Bazaar, but when she did not return home, she was lodged missing in the police station on 05th October by informant Surajdev Thakur. The police analyzed the facts of the said missing person in detail and informed the family members of the missing person. The clothes and items seized from the spot were identified by the family members of the missing person, in which the family members Surajdev Thakur, Mrs. Kaushalya, Muktawati and Mintu Thakur, all residents of Ward No. Initial identified as 01 Kusmi. Post-mortem of the skeleton, skull and bones seized from the spot was conducted by a team of doctors. P.M. Later, the doctors declared it to be murder, on which a crime has been registered and taken up for investigation. On interrogating the family members, it was told that Mokhtar Ansari, father Sattar Ansari, age 38 years, resident of Parswar police station, Bhandaria district, Garhwa (Jharkhand) and his brother used to come to their house. Mokhtar used to work as a sweeper. In the course of investigation, Mokhtar Ansari from the state of Jharkhand was taken into custody on the basis of suspicion and interrogated strictly. In which he told that his brother had a love affair with the deceased girl and his brother used to spend all the money on them which he did not like. For this reason he accepted the murder. The accused was duly arrested and presented before the Honorable Court and his police remand was taken. The facts in the case are yet to be revealed by interrogating the accused, the matter is under investigation.
