Range level cyber workshop organized to provide relief to victims of cyber crimes

Bilaspur । In order to provide timely relief to the victims of cyber crime, a one-day training workshop was organized today by DrUnder the direction/guidance of Sanjeev Shukla, Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur Range, “Chetna Bhawan” was organized at Protected Center Bilaspur. The cyber workshop was inaugurated in the dignified presence of Dr. Sanjeev Shukla, Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur and Rajnesh Singh, Superintendent of Police, Bilaspur. In the initial address, Rajnesh Singh highlighted the objective of cyber training and provided the trainees with technical information about cases related to cyber crime, evidence collection, CDR. They were asked to help cyber crime victims in police stations by taking training in analysis etc.

On this occasion DrWhile addressing the trainees, Sanjeev Shukla said that at present the cases related to cyber are increasing more than the traditional crimes, as a result, it is necessary to have police personnel having knowledge of cyber in every police station. Keeping this in mind, constables/head constables having computer knowledge have been selected from the police stations of the district and called for training. After the training, they have to work as cyber nodal officers in the police station. The IG further said that cyber crime is the biggest challenge facing the police at present, which is rapidly increasing with new methods. Only those who have knowledge of cyber will be able to interpret it, hence it is necessary for all the employees in every police station to have basic knowledge of cyber. Because in cyber fraud, the Golden Hour is very important to get back the cheated money. If the correct procedure is followed at this time, the defrauded money can be returned. From this point of view, it has become very important to have at least one cyber expert in the police station, hence this training has been organized. In this cyber workshop, along with the primary action to be taken when the victims present themselves at the police station, how cyber crime should be analyzed, how information should be obtained from open source intelligence, how to use cyber portals and digital Collect evidence and go to courtInformation was given regarding the presentation.Apart from this, how the reports received during investigation are studied and analyzed was also explained. So that the evidence in the cases can be presented properly and the criminals can be punished. In the cyber workshop, the trainees were trained by Mrs. Deepmala Kashyap, Zonal Superintendent of Police, Special Branch, Bilaspur, Anuj Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Bilaspur, Prabhakar Tiwari, Sub Inspector, Cyber Branch, Bilaspur, along with experts in cyber matters, Vikku Singh, Chiranjeev Kumar and Vikas Ram. 17 from Bilaspur range district, 14 from Raigarh, 24 from Korba, 18 from Janjgir-Champa, 17 from Mungeli, Gau.P.M. A total of 122 employees of K04, 10 of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh and 14 of Sakti district benefited from this training. All these cyber trained head constables/constables will be able to help cyber crime victims at the police station level itself. In the last part of the training, feedback was obtained from the trainees and after taking examination on the subjects related to the training, 10 trainees were awarded cash prizes by the Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur Range
