Mungeli – Under the direction of Mungeli Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel, Mungeli Police took major action against the junkyards. 42 tonnes of illegal junk loaded in 2 big trucks, worth approximately twenty four lakh rupees, was also seized. The action against the people involved in the illegal activities of Mungeli Police will continue.

On receiving the information, Superintendent of Police Mungeli immediately formed a team and arrested the team. Driver Rajkumar was found full of junkNeti, father, Inderpal, 20 years old, resident of village Pasan, district Korba, Chhattisgarh, told that the owner of the said junk is Firoz Memon, resident of Bilaspur, who told that there are no documents and E-WAY BILL of the junk goods and the vehicle is in Kanmak CG 04 JD 4160. The rod was found loaded and the driver was Waris Khan, father of SardarKhan, aged 42 years, resident of Ratanpur district, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, told that the owner of the junk goods was Imran Khan, resident of Bilaspur. The goods did not have valid documents and E-WAY BILL. It was said that the junk goods loaded in the above vehicle were property related to crime.
