Raikheda/Raipur : On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the Adani Foundation organised a special event titled ‘Hariyali ka Utsav’ (Festival of Greenery) at the Adani Power Limited (APL) campus in Raikheda. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 227 children from Raikheda and neighbouring villages.

The programme commenced with a painting competition where children creatively expressed themes such as environmental conservation, climate change, and soil protection. Winners were felicitated to encourage their artistic efforts and awareness.
In a message shared on the occasion, Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, stated, “Environmental awareness among children lays the foundation for a sustainable future. I am proud that through the efforts of the Adani Foundation, children are now stepping forward to protect nature. This truly reflects our vision of ‘Village to Global’.”

A vibrant performance of Chhattisgarhi folk dance by the children added a cultural touch to the event while also reinforcing messages of environmental preservation. The participants collectively pledged to plant trees and reduce the use of plastic.
The event aimed not just to spread awareness but also to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment among the younger generation. The Adani Foundation continues to work actively in areas including education, healthcare, livelihood enhancement, and infrastructure development.
