Bilaspur (Ratanpur) । The historic town of Ratanpur witnessed a unique and memorable event as Bilaspur Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajnesh Singh (IPS) was elevated to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in a special ceremony held at the revered Mahamaya Temple. In an extraordinary gesture, ADG (Intelligence) Amit Kumar (IPS) formally pinned the SSP badge and stars to Rajnesh Singh in the temple premises following traditional rituals and prayers. The occasion marked the first instance in Ratanpur where a police promotion was ceremoniously conducted in a spiritual setting. The event attracted a significant gathering of police officers, dignitaries, and local residents, all present to witness the symbolic occasion. Following the pinning ceremony, Rajnesh Singh received warm congratulations and greetings from colleagues and attendees. ASP Archana Jha and ASP Udyan Bihar presented a bouquet to SSP Rajnesh Singh, extending their heartfelt wishes for his successful tenure and future endeavors. The ceremony saw the presence of Kota SDOP Nupur Upadhyay, Ratanpur Police Station In-charge Naresh Kumar Chauhan, Mahamaya Temple Trust Vice President Satish Sharma, along with several officers and personnel from the Ratanpur Police Force. The conclusion of the ceremony turned into a joyous occasion as temple visitors and officials showered SSP Rajnesh Singh with warm wishes, while the aura of Maa Mahamaya’s blessings enveloped the gathering. This ceremonious promotion event at the sacred Mahamaya Temple has undoubtedly added a memorable chapter in the annals of Bilaspur Police history.
