Coal India CSR Conclave: Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das participated as key speaker in the panel discussion

Told about the help that Project Dhadkan is providing to the children of Koyalanchal suffering from congenital heart disease.

Bilaspur। The 3rd Coal India CSR Conclave organized by Coal India started in Kolkata. The two-day conclave organized from 15-16 December showcased the CSR efforts of Coal India and all its subsidiaries. On the occasion of the inauguration of the CSR Conclave, Honorable Governor of West Bengal Dr. CV Anand Bose was present as the chief guest, while Coal Secretary Shri Vikram Dev Dutt was present as the special guest. Coal India Chairman Shri PM Prasad also had a dignified presence in the program.

On this occasion, a panel discussion focused on CSR was also organized in which SECL Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das talked about the CSR efforts of SECL in the last ten years in Koylanchal of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. He said that SECL is providing free screening and treatment to children suffering from congenital heart disease through Project Dhadkan, which is ensuring standard medical facilities to children from economically weaker families. The Panel congratulated Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Personnel), SECL for the unprecedented achievement of ‘SECL’s Sushruta’, the free residential coaching initiative of NEET.
