Korba – Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the public meeting organized at CSEB East football ground, said that Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs. 625 crores was performed in the holy city of Urjajani. This is a huge amount and this amount will give further impetus to the development of the district. He said that the district receives a huge amount from DMF and this amount is being spent in promoting education, health and infrastructural development in the district. We have worked to provide good governance in the state. He said that Korba is a coal deposit area, earlier there used to be irregularities in DMF also. Right now the troublemakers are in jail. Talking about giving Forest Rights Certificates to special backward tribe families of the district and Forest Rights Certificates to 32 beneficiaries of Pali urban body area, the Chief Minister said that PM Janman Yojana was started by Prime Minister Modi for the development of PVTG areas. Through this scheme, PVTG families of the district are getting electricity, water, roads and other basic facilities. He told that under the Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan, Prime Minister Modi has kept a budget of eighty thousand crore rupees to improve the infrastructure, health, education and livelihood of the people of the tribal community, under this scheme, six villages of Chhattisgarh thousand five hundred villages are also included and thisThe families of the area will also get benefits. CM announced construction of Rapta on Hasdev River and other works –
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced various development works in the district on the demand of City MLA and Industries Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan. He announced the construction of approach road towards Old Basti Rani Road including Sarvamangala Hasdev River Rapta. He announced to provide Rs 23 crore for construction of new circuit house at Korba headquarters, upgradation of middle school to high school in Jhagarha and development works in various wards of Korba Municipal Corporation.
