Through this policy, a target has been set to create 5 lakh new formal sector jobs in the next 5 years by creating skilled employment for the youth of the state. In this policy, in addition to providing incentives to more than 1000 employment providing units, provision has been made for special incentives through training to convert local workers into formal employment. The aim of this new and important policy is to realize the vision of employment generation and leading industrial state through overall industrial development. Besides, incentives have to be given to public and private sector through big enterprises. In the new industrial policy, the period of enterprise aspiration is being increased from two years to five years through a simplified and balanced policy. For this, a Cabinet sub-committee will also be formed for effective implementation and quick decisions.
