Mungeli । District General Secretary Sanjay Yadav said that forcibly refusing farmers to plant Rabi crops is an anti-farmer step of the BJP government. Accusing BJP, Sanjay Yadav said that BJP’s attitude has been against farmers since the beginning. BJP’s Modi government first brought three black laws for farmers and when they were opposed across the country, the government had to withdraw those three black laws. Sanjay Yadav further said that BJP wants to eliminate farmers and farming from Chhattisgarh, which is known as the rice bowl. He said that the administration is making announcement for not taking paddy produce in Rabi season. Congress will protest against this action of the administration The District General Secretary has expressed objection calling it a forced ban. Yadav said that this is the anti-farmer attitude of the government. Who would the government be to stop farmers from farming? Farmers harvest crops as per their convenience and use. It is wrong for the government to ban them. If it is not the government’s policy, then on whose instructions are the officials harassing the farmers? The District General Secretary said that the BJP government, through collectors, is pressurizing the farmers in the entire state not to harvest paddy in the Rabi crop. In some villages of the district, even announcements were made for not taking the crop, BJP is forcibly stopping the farmers from taking the crop. Farming and farmers are not the priority of the BJP government.
