The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Branch of the Coal Mines Officers’ Association of India (CMOAI) was held today, 27 June 2026, at Vasant Club, Vasant Vihar, SECL.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Human Resources), SECL, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he expressed confidence that the newly elected executive committee would work constructively towards safeguarding the interests of officers while contributing positively to the growth and progress of both the Association and the Company.
On the occasion, Shri Ashish Tyagi (President), Shri Tilak Raj and Shri Ajay Pandit (Vice Presidents), Shri Alok Khullar (General Secretary), Dr. Anu Neha and Dr. Sumit Krishnan (Joint General Secretaries), Shri Anup Rahate (Treasurer) and Shri Ajay Gupta (Joint Treasurer) took the oath of office.
It is noteworthy that, as part of the election process for the CMOAI SECL Branch, polling was conducted at the SECL Headquarters on 6 June 2026 and across SECL Areas on 7 June 2026. The election results were declared on 8 June 2026.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by a large number of SECL officers and members of CMOAI.
