Bilaspur : On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, brave police personnel of the district police force were honoured at the state level for their fearless action against crime and their contribution to strengthening law and order. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presented Certificates of Commendation to Constables Ashish Rathore and Birendra Rajput of the Bilaspur district police during the Republic Day समारोह, appreciating their courage, dedication, and exemplary service.
The two constables played a crucial role in apprehending a gang involved in cheating innocent citizens under the guise of providing benefits under housing schemes. Their timely and effective action not only ensured justice for the victims but also sent a strong warning to fraudsters operating in society.
In another incident, during routine night patrolling, Constables Rathore and Rajput courageously chased and caught a notorious thief who was attempting to flee after committing a theft. A search led to the recovery of valuable gold and silver jewellery along with cash, resulting in the exposure of a major theft case.
Additionally, both constables were actively involved in taking firm action against local criminals and in promptly arresting accused persons involved in serious offences, including knife attacks. Their alertness and swift response helped prevent several major crimes in the area.
Commending their efforts, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that such dedicated and courageous police personnel form the backbone of the state’s law and order system. He extended his best wishes to the constables for a bright future and described their service as a source of inspiration for other members of the police force.
The honour received on Republic Day proved to be a moment of pride not only for Constables Ashish Rathore and Birendra Rajput but also significantly boosted the morale of the entire Bilaspur district police force.
