Raipur – Rigvedic Purvaamnaya Shri Govardhan Math Puripeethadhishwar Anantashree Vibhushit Shrimajjagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shrinishchalanand Saraswatiji Maharaj discussed with journalists in the press conference organized at Shri Sudarshan Sansthan Shankaracharya Ashram Ravabhantha Raipur today. Shankaracharya ji took a jibe at RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement regarding the temple-mosque dispute and said that by becoming volunteers, everyone becomes a conductor. They have to speak for twelve months, so they say anything. Later they feel ashamed and say that everyone has the right to criticize our statements. He said that do not find any sign of Hindu in Mohan Bhagwat, he deserves pity and not criticism. Let us tell you that recently while giving a statement on the temple-mosque dispute, Mohan Bhagwat had said that there is no need to find Shivling in every mosque. He also said that we should understand history in the right context and maintain peace and harmony in the present. The RSS chief has given this statement at a time when mosques in many places in the country including Sambhal, Mathura, Ajmer and Kashi are being claimed to have been temples in ancient times and now Shankaracharya Nischalanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj has taken issue with his statements. There is a lot of sarcasm. Puri Shankaracharyaji also said that it is the helplessness of the Sangh that they do not have the strength of Guru, Govind and the scriptures. If RSS had adopted even one text then it would have got the textual strength, without this its position is very small. Regarding fake Shankaracharya, Puri Shankaracharya said that a fake President cannot become a fake Prime Minister in the country, then why is a terrorist being glorified by making him a fake Shankaracharya. This is disregard for the accepted Shankaracharyas by the rulers. Because the respected Shankaracharya tells things according to the scriptures and beneficial for everyone, which is not beneficial for the politicians and that is why they give support to fake Shankaracharyas who follow them. Puri Shankaracharyaji further said that everyone’s ancestors are Vedic Aryan Hindu Sanatani and as long as Hindus are safe, all other communities are also safe. If Hindus are no more, they will also be killed and driven away. Shankaracharyaji also said in clear words that as long as Hindus remain limited only to their stomach and family, their plight will continue. When asked about the rights of mothers, Puri Shankaracharya said that mothers have more rights than men as mentioned in the scriptures. It is said in Shri Ramcharitmanas – Jaun Keval Pitu Aaysu Tata, Tau Jani Jahu Jani Badi Mata – Hey Tat! If it is only the father’s permission, then do not go to the forest considering your mother (than your father) as superior. It is noteworthy that Puri Shankaracharyaji made an auspicious debut in Raipur on 22nd December on his nine-day stay under the Rashtarotkarsh Abhiyan. Puri Shankaracharyaji will reside in the Shankaracharya Ashram located at Ravabhantha in the capital Raipur from 22nd December to 30th December. After the program organized in Raipur, we will leave for Orissa by rail on 31st December at 5 pm.
