District police found 1003 missing persons in a year

Korba – According to the information received in this regard from the Superintendent of Police office, under “Operation Vishwas”, a special campaign was run in the district for the whole month from 01 January 2024 to 11 December 2024 for the search of missing persons, in which under the direction of Nodal Officer SDOP Kasdol Kaushal Kishore Vasnik, all the police station and outpost in-charges of the district were given separate tasks for the search of missing persons and were directed to maintain inputs etc. at every possible place of finding the missing persons and search immediately. During this, according to the information received on interrogation from the family members, school friends etc. of the missing persons and the information received from the technical team of the cyber cell, police teams were sent to search for the missing persons. Along with this, a team was also formed at the headquarters level from the police office, which was immediately sent to the concerned place on receiving any kind of information regarding the missing person, which increased the possibility of finding the missing person. During the campaign, the police team has recovered missing persons from border states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, etc. Also, missing persons have been recovered from nearby districts like Mahasamund, Raipur, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh, Dhamtari, Bemetara, etc. In the entire campaign, the District Balodabazar-Bhatapara Police has succeeded in recovering a total of 1003 missing persons. These missing persons also include a total of 254 minor boys / girls, who have been handed over to their families after completing the due formalities. The recovered missing persons include a total of 27 boys, 227 girls, 165 men and 584 women.
